Dear Gateway Family,

As many of you will know, we travelled to Canada last Summer for a few weeks in order to continue to pray and decide about an opportunity to move out there more permanently. Canada has been on our hearts for many years, however, it has never felt like an open door until now. 

Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your father. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered so do not fear; you are of more value than many sparrows.

It’s been a busy September, here are a few short highlights

I’ve written this mini blog series over the past year, sharing an honest glimpse into my experience of singleness. I’ve come to recognise that singleness is a God-given gift and a blessing to the church. At the same time, I’ve wrestled with the pain of an unfulfilled longing for marriage.

What I’ve learned most is that—whether married or single—we are all learning to trust our faithful God with desires and circumstances that are not always easy. And, most importantly, remember that marriage and singleness are both wonderful ways to glorify God. 

I hope this offers a helpful insight for you.
