I’ve written this mini blog series over the past year, sharing an honest glimpse into my experience of singleness. I’ve come to recognise that singleness is a God-given gift and a blessing to the church. At the same time, I’ve wrestled with the pain of an unfulfilled longing for marriage.

What I’ve learned most is that—whether married or single—we are all learning to trust our faithful God with desires and circumstances that are not always easy. And, most importantly, remember that marriage and singleness are both wonderful ways to glorify God.

There are so many highlights to catch up with from before Christmas…

It was the last weekend before Christmas at the Bethany household...

"Let's spend some time with God together," said Mary.  "We could go for a walk in the woods, or sing some carols?"

Behold the virgin shall conceive and bear a son and they shall call his name Emmanuel,

 (which means God with us). (Matthew 1:23)

In the lead up to Christmas many of our church family have been getting creative in their acts of Kindness…

Over the past few weeks, our church has celebrated baptisms, hosted a Light Party, advanced our Well-being course, received generous financial support, and continues to thank God for these blessings and community growth.
