What we've been up to!

We have been enjoying the warmer weather and being able to get outside – it was great to share hospitality Sunday altogether in Hyde Park for a picnic at the beginning of June.

And to be blessed with a good number of Gateway folk joining the grounds team this month to work on completing the path.

Also the payback team who work in the grounds each Wednesday now have a new coordinator and there has been a big improvement with the groups commitment and work ethic.

It is exciting getting ready to launch the School of Leadership in September led by Sam and Esther who they have been busy setting up the course – a big thankyou to Gabe and Isaac for their technical support.

Bethan has been busy in the building coordinating a big re-painting job of the walls including our new uniquely coloured toilet rooms.

At the Half Night of Prayer in Jan we prayed for pastor Joseph in Uganda to get a motorbike so he can visit the different churches he helps to lead. Recently someone gifted money for this and the church were very thankful – Praise God!

This is a place where we hope to share what we have been up to in Gateway, to let the whole church know of activities and aspects of church life including wider outreach and initiatives that you may not always get to witness or hear about. We want to encourage everyone with all the good and exciting projects we are part of and give space to look back, reflect on and thank God and others in our church community who serve in the local area, the city or further afield.

If you have something to share please email it in to sarah.woodger@gatewayleeds.net
