What we've been up to!

It’s been a busy September, here are a few short highlights:

We held a Try Church Sunday at the beginning of the month and welcomed guest speaker Andy Frost from SJI who spoke about the Power of Stories, how they frame, provoke and guide us and then tells of the one big story about God and his plan for the world.

Sam and Esther launched the School of Leadership.

We welcomed new and returning students to Gateway – thank you to all those who hosted and provided welcome meals in your homes over the past few weeks.

The Community Café opened back after the summer break and Natalie and Amy held an Autumn themed Creative morning workshop.

It has been sad to say farewell to Bethan from the Gateway Staff team, a huge thank you and happy retirement, you'll be missed! But a big welcome to Eniola, who has taken on Bethan's role on the team as our St Mark's and Community Coordinator.

This is a place where we hope to share what we have been up to in Gateway, to let the whole church know of activities and aspects of church life including wider outreach and initiatives that you may not always get to witness or hear about. We want to encourage everyone with all the good and exciting projects we are part of and give space to look back, reflect on and thank God and others in our church community who serve in the local area, the city or further afield.

If you have something to share please email it in to sarah.woodger@gatewayleeds.net
