Newday is an annual event run by Newfrontiers, the family of churches
we're a member of. This year 6000 young people gathered at Uttoxeter
race course near Derby for bible teaching, social action and seminars
and of course, lots of fun!
Here's what our young people thought...
"Newday was cool. Some of the Seminars/preaches were helpful. For
example Terry Virgo giving a talk on the history of Newfrontiers. That
for some reason really helped me come back to God. All the seminars
were cool too. I went to the apologetics stream, they taught me ALOT."
"We had a prayer and bible study time each morning on our site lead by the different Gateway youth workers and they were all really excelent times."
"Getting to know other local youth groups epsecially Bradford and Selby was good and I made some great friends."
"One of the girls I went to my age group with, was not a Christian and she made a commitment during the week which was really exciting."
