You are warmly invited to the Alpha Course, an opportunity to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed environment.
It's low key, friendly and fun, with over 2 million people in the UK, and 11 million worldwide having found it to be a worthwhile experience.
The launch of the city-wide Alpha is happening on the 2nd October, with two events being held at Leeds Town Hall (map).

Alpha Lunch
The Alpha Lunch will run from 1-2pm, where food will be provided and former conservative MP, Jonathan Aitkin will present "Finding God in the Depths".
Alpha Evening
The Evening Event will be hosted by Nicky Gumbel, the founder of the Alpha course, as well as including guests; Cameron Stout (Winner of Big Brother) and Rosemary Conley (Fitness Guru).
This evening includes light refreshments and music.
Who is Alpha for?
Those wanting to investigate Christianity.
New Christians.
Newcomers to the church.
Those who want to brush up on the basics.
Gateway Church are following on from the launch with an Alpha course:
The ten week course starts Wednesday 7th October at the St George's Centre (map). The course will run until Wednesday 9th December, with a day away together on Saturday 21st November.
