Sundays

What Happens During a Meeting?

Sunday Mornings are an exciting place to be in Gateway - the whole church coming together, celebrating what God has done through Jesus.

As you arrive you will be met by our welcome team (They're the ones in black shirts). The meeting usually starts with a brief introduction followed by about 40 minutes of worshipping and praising God which is led by one of our bands.

During this time there is opportunity for people from all around the meeting to contribute. There are then a few notices followed by a talk from the bible for about half an hour. There may then be a small time to respond to the talk followed by tea and coffee. If you are new to the church our welcome team would love to chat to you and help you with any questions that you have.

The Holy Spirit

The Bible tells us that God lives with his people and God makes His presence felt through the person of Holy Spirit. In the book of Acts in the bible; the Holy Spirit came to the disciples and they felt his presence and heard his voice. They saw many healings and were changed dramatically by Him. We believe in the same Spirit today in Gateway and we see many healings and many lives changed.
