Giving
“Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver”
2 Corinthians 9 v 7
At Gateway we love to encourage cheerful generosity as it is an act of worship to God. However generosity doesn’t only come in the form of giving financially, but through everything we do. Jesus teaches us to be generous with our time, money, forgiveness, love, grace, the list goes on and on. For some excellent teaching on this have a listen to Adam Price’s seminar on ‘Generosity without Money’ from Sunday 19 June 2011.
Giving financially to the church however, enables us, amongst many things, to bless the community, to Love Leeds and make Jesus famous across the city and beyond.
If you would like to give to Gateway financially we take an offering during every Sunday meeting. Alternatively if you would like to give regularly, an easy way to manage this is to set up a Standing Order. You can do this by printing the Standing Order form below and posting it to your bank or you can use the details on the form to set up the standing order using your online or telephone banking.
Another way to further the income of the church is to claim Gift Aid on any donation made to Gateway. This allows us to reclaim the income tax you have already paid on that money (currently 25%). Please fill in the Gift Aid form below and return to Gateway (either by post or via the Sunday offering baskets).
If you are unsure whether your giving is Gift Aidable or if you wish to set up a standing order and intend to Gift Aid this, please email our Finance Administrator at office@gatewayleeds.net.
If you currently give to Gateway and we claim Gift Aid on your donations please ensure we have the correct address details for you to enable us to claim this back.
